Oktay Aksoy

He was born in 1969. He graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Conservatory in Ballet. (1981-1992)

He started working at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Company. (1986)

Started as Chief Dancer at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Company and danced with Rudolph Nureyev, Grigorovich and similar top dancers and companies. (1993)

He worked with many companies and workshops and dance in Europe and the USA. (1997-2000)

State sponsored visiting tours for information and learning of the classical arts to the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. (1998-2000)

Worked as dance instructor and as art director at various schools in classical ballet and modern dance. (2000-2010)

Raymondo, Spartacus, Blue Bird, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Bayadere, La fille mal Gardee, La Sylphide, Nutcracker, Don Quichotte, Esmeralda, giselle Coppelia, Corsaire, Ağır Roman, Carmina Burana, West Side Story.
